HOLYOKE, NJ – The 4th annual Your First Mud Run was held Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 on the campus of Holyoke Community College.

Participants were challenged by running a 2-mile, family-friendly obstacle course, which featured a 6-foot-high wall, 50 old tires, a set “Treacherous Tubes,” heavy jump ropes, and of course a mud pit.

Runners of all ages crawled through mud, carried heavy tires uphill and scaled walls to complete the course.

Race organizers tout the race as the best mud run in the country for first timers and families.
