About this event
Located in the beautiful open fields of Pennsylvania, the Goodman Campus at Lehigh University was the perfect place for a mud run — a historic site that made all the running, jumping over obstacles, and crawling through the mud worth it.
The course was two loops totaling two miles, running mostly on pavement with some grass and small hills, featuring approximately 10–14 obstacles.

Family information
Runners ages 13 and up could take on the course solo or with friends and family, while kids ages 5–12 ran alongside a registered parent or guardian (18+) — the same course for the whole family, scaled to be manageable for younger runners.
Community & charity
A portion of that year's proceeds went to ArtsQuest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, continuing Your First Mud Run's practice of pairing every event with a local fundraising partner.
Real family, real event
“Brought my son and daughter three years running — Garret, Fair Lawn and Bethlehem, a different location each year.”
— Clayton Van Alstine, Jan 2020
