What we can say: it's a family-friendly atmosphere, it's outdoors, and it's genuinely appreciated. Join the Family Film Challenge
Complete the Challenge signup form and upload your registration receipt/proof of registration.

Complete your five Challenge moments
Capture your family experience at Home, Travelling, Arrival, On the Course and Finish Line. At each stop, capture one family photo and one short video clip of about 10 seconds or less. "On the Course" doesn't need everyone in frame; one obstacle or moment from anyone in your family counts.

Post and tag
Share your Family Film Challenge experience on Facebook and Instagram and tag Your First Mud Run.

Submit your photos, videos and proof
After completing the Challenge, use the submission link provided after signup to send your Challenge photos, Challenge videos, and screenshots of your Facebook and Instagram posts.

Final review step & mystery freebie
After your Challenge submission is reviewed, our team will send the final review instructions directly to you. Complete that final step, a Google review. Once our team confirms that every completion requirement is done, your family receives the mystery freebie.
The part you keep
What you capture here becomes part of your family’s story.
The muddy clothes will get washed and race day will end, but the photos, videos, laughs and little moments you captured together are something your family can come back to long after the event is over.
